This support will consist of a minimum of 13 hours of tutoring per company, spread over 4 work sessions plus an initial meeting lasting one hour.

The Gonsi Sòcrates building located in Viladecans is the first building in southern Europe built with circular economy criteria. Therefore, it is not a conventional office building. It is a unique building with solar panels and geothermal energy. The concept is entirely circular economy as it is possible to disassemble and recycle each of the materials that make up the building.
The circular economy is based on improve economic results of companies, making the most of resources and reducing the generation of waste to a minimum, with a positive environmental and social impact.
Redesign products or processes to reverse the trend of resource depletion and ecosystem impoverishment.
Maximize use by sharing products, reusing them or extending their useful life: maintenance, design and updating.
Increase the energy and material efficiency of the processes. Minimize waste. Big data, automation, IoT, control and remote driving.
Keep materials and products in recovery / reuse cycles, remanufacture products or components and recycle as many materials as possible.
Dematerialize and reduce the consumption of resources by providing use digitally, directly (for example books or music) or indirectly by digitizing processes or services.
Replace material resources, energy, etc. for renewable alternatives and for innovative solutions that are less intensive in consumption.
The public administrations participating in the project (City Councils of Viladecans, Gavà, Castelldefels, Prat de Llobregat and Sant Boi, and the Diputació de Barcelona) act as a disseminating agent of the change towards an efficient economy in the use of resources, to increase competitiveness and generate growth and employment for companies.
The protagonism of the program is assumed by the companies that actively participate, they are the ones that apply this new way of understanding economic activity linked to sustainability criteria.
