If you have in mind to develop a new one product, process or technological service that can contribute to the circular economy in the field of waste, but its development presents a high technical risk, the Business R&D Cores are the push you need to make it happen.
The Circular Economy business R&D cores they are grants of up to 150,000 euros in lost funds intended to finance R&D projects related to waste and that need to develop new processes or new technology.
The projects must respond to one of these two areas:
- Recovery of resources from previous waste from own or third-party processes.
- Improvement of waste treatment processes to recover resources or reduce the amount of waste that is finally destined for storage.
Requirements:
- Companies with R&D activity, with a minimum of four years of life and with experience and capacity (both economic and infrastructure) to carry out the project in Catalonia.
- Projects with a budget of more than 150,000 euros and to be carried out within a maximum period of three years from the date of application.
