The Ecoindústria project is promoted by the town councils of Villadecans, Gave, Castelldefels, El Prat de Llobregat i Sant Boi de Llobregat, together with the Provincial Council of Barcelona and theBarcelona Metropolitan Area, i provides support, training, advice and support to companies in their processes of transformation towards thecircular economy, while carrying out dissemination and communication actions to promote this change.
As part of this project, an important action has been launched to carry out a comprehensive diagnosis in the industrial estates of the Llobregat Delta councils in relation to the circular economy. The main objective of this initiative is to promote and facilitate the transition towards a more sustainable industrial business model at an economic, environmental and social level, based on a more precise analysis of the realities and needs of local companies. With this action, the aim is to obtain valuable knowledge to make strategic decisions and adapt the Ecoindustry project to generate a greater impact in the region.
The specific objectives of this action are divided into two groups. Firstly, a diagnosis will be made of the current situation of companies in industrial estates with regard to the circular economy, with the aim of understanding their needs and situation in the transition towards circular economy models. Based on this information, a report will be generated with proposals for actions or projects that satisfy the identified needs, adapting to the realities and needs of local companies.
To achieve this, the active participation of local companies in this diagnosis process is essential. The collaboration of companies is essential to obtain a complete and accurate vision of the current situation, opportunities and needs in relation to the circular economy in the industrial estates of the Delta del Llobregat. Your involvement will contribute to the success of this initiative and the definition of the most suitable actions to promote sustainability and economic development in this area.
The field study and diagnosis of the reality of the industrial fabric in the industrial estates of the five municipalities of the Delta del Llobregat will be carried out by the company Societat Empresa, a recognized development consultancy that has already carried out studies in the field of 'circular economy in other territories, such as the Garraf. Their experience and knowledge in this area will be key to carrying out a careful analysis and providing solutions adapted to the needs of the Llobregat Delta.
This action reinforces Ecoindústria's commitment to promoting the circular economy and sustainability in the Llobregat Delta's business fabric. Through the collaboration between councils, companies and other key actors, work will be done to achieve an effective transition towards a more sustainable industrial business model, contributing to the protection of the environment and the economic and social development of the area.
