Llobregat Delta, September 15, 2023
The councils of the Delta del Llobregat, which include Castelldefels, Gavà, El Prat de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat and Viladecans, in collaboration with the Diputació de Barcelona and the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, promote the Ecoindústria project to carry out an exhaustive diagnosis on the circular economy in the industrial estates of the region. This action, which begins in September and will extend until mid-November, has as its main objective to promote and facilitate the transition towards a more sustainable industrial business model at an economic, environmental and social level.
As announced in July, the company Societat Empresa will be in charge of carrying out this diagnosis. With previous experience in studies related to the circular economy in other regions, such as the Garraf, his knowledge and experience will play a fundamental role in carrying out a precise analysis and in providing solutions adapted to the specific needs of the Llobregat Delta.
The field study and the diagnosis of the reality of the industrial fabric in the polygons of the five municipalities of the Delta will be carried out through interviews with several local companies. However, any company is invited to participate in this process through a questionnaire available online at Questionnaire Circular Economy Ecoindustry.
