Last year, the municipalities of Gavà and Viladecans came together to carry out the project ofeco-industry. Symbiosis in local industry, focused on the promotion of circular economy models in companies. A variety of companies from the municipality of Viladecans participated in the project and some of them applied for the subsidy for circular economy promotion projects awarded by the Waste Agency of Catalonia. ABICONT INDUSTRIAL, SL: a grant has been awarded for projects to implement waste valorisation improvements, specifically for the conditioning project for the extraction process of oils and fats from vegetable waste to increase extraction yields and allocate - them in the manufacture of new biofuels.
CONSUMER, SL: you have been awarded a grant for the implementation of ecodesign of new products or services, specifically for the project Printer phoenix, SL the creation of an Eco printing service administered by the dematerialization of printing services.
HOCHLAND SPANISH SA: has been awarded a grant for demonstrative projects to improve the valorization of waste, specifically for the project to develop multi-layer plastic packaging to be recirculated in a circular economy.
This year the project eco-industry is in a second phase. In this second phase, the municipality joins the municipalities of Gavà and Viladecans of him Prat de Llobregat We hope that more companies from all municipalities will join and enter or consolidate in the world of the Circular Economy.
