Symposium "Towards a circular model in printing"
November 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Can Calderon center (c. Andorra, 64 de Viladecans)

The commitment with the sustainability It is part of Embatex Iberia SL's business strategy and, from its e-commerce website, explains it:Printer Phoenix is committed to repairing, reusing and encouraging recycling ".

Its products are adapted to the most innovative industrial trend: the circular economy, which tries to combat the famous equation "buy, use, throw away" by another that could be summed up as "use, recycle and reuse", fundamental to ensure that the value of products, materials and resources remains in the economy for the longest time possible and at the same time reduce the generation of waste to a minimum. It is about moving towards an economy based on the principle of "closing the life cycle" of waste products, services, materials and energy.

Europe is working to boost this type of economy respects the environment, capable of increasing the economic benefits of companies and generating jobs. The European Parliament has plans aimed at ensuring that damaged appliances are easily repaired, thus ending planned obsolescence, that practice according to which the useful life of household appliances and electronic appliances is previously determined by the manufacturer.

Printer Phoenix, faithful to this philosophy, "revives the client's printer" with its remanufactured products: fusers and devices in MPS applications, with a 6-month warranty and multiple benefits, all aimed at extending the life of the client's multi-brand printer park with the EMPS (Eco managed Printing Service) service, thus eliminating the need to purchase new machinery.

To spread this new way of doing things in the management of printer parks, and to discuss the reduction of economic and ecological impacts in this sector, Embatex Iberia SL, the Catalan Waste Agency and the Viladecans City Council, within the European Waste Prevention Week, organize a Symposium whose motto is already sufficiently explicit: "Towards a circular model in printing".

Among the participants, the company EIG (Eco Intelligent Growth), the company NubePrint and the organizing company, Embatex SL.
