C-VoUCHER, is a project funded by the EU Horizon 2020 program and aims to create circular value in traditional industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who can apply?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Companies willing to embark on the journey of circular transformation and change the way they do business, cooperate with others and create a positive impact on the environment. The applicant must be an SME, small and medium-sized enterprise.<\/span><\/p>\n

The projects are not limited to the challenges identified by C-VoUCHER, they can work on their own cases presented by the companies that can be solved with the circular approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

What does the program offer?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

a. The first phase includes a 3-day workshop (Bootcamp) where 13 companies are invited to identify and develop circular economy solutions based on their existing business models, adding technologies and designing strategies for their operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

b. In the second phase, 6 of the 13 companies are selected to further develop their ideas in a 9-month program (Circularity Program for Classic SMEs) that includes tailored support from designers \/ business consultancies, technology implementation, business mentoring and funding opportunities (both public and private).<\/span><\/p>\n

What is included in the grant?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

The 13 selected companies will receive 2,000 euros to participate in the 3-day workshop (reimbursement of travel expenses).<\/span><\/p>\n

The 6 selected companies will be offered a voucher of up to \u20ac58K in business consulting services and access to financing solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is required to participate?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

The company must allocate internal resources: the\u00a0people<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0that come from various areas of the company's structure (management level, finance, production, technology, etc.), as well as\u00a0time<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to participate in the program. Staff dedication should be sufficient to implement the circular project.<\/span><\/p>\n

To participate in the Bootcamp (the event organized for the 13 selected companies) you need the\u00a0following preparations<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0of the company:\u00a0reserve meeting dates<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0(expected the last week of February 2020,) i\u00a0select 2-3 key people<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to work on the proposal (together with a designer and technological expert provided by C-Voucher) and\u00a0present the project<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0during the event (pitching session in front of the jury).<\/span><\/p>\n

The companies selected in the Circularity Acceleration Program (6 out of 13 invited to the Bootcamp) must report on their progress in the Program. They will have to deliver the Circular Solutions Definition Plan (created in cooperation with the assigned designer and completed after the second month of the Program). Each SME will be required to keep in touch with the assigned designer or consultant and systematically monitor the implementation of the plan according to individual agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application submission deadline<\/span><\/strong>: up to\u00a0December 31, 2019<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0(17:00 Brussels time)<\/span><\/p>\n

The project will distribute a total of 4.2 million euros in funding through its open calls.<\/span><\/p>\n
